Shadow shapes

A byoot of a day, as my bro would say.

Went for a mega walk after lunch, the length of the Malahide Road to Fairview, on to Clontarf sea front, as far as the Yacht pub for a piut stop, then along Stiles Road to Killester (another pit stop at the Beachcomber), a bit of shopping in Supervalu (what happened their "e"?) and then home by completing the circuit along Collins Avenue East. A long one, but rewarding and envigorating.

The sea front at Clontarf isn't the most attractive of places when the tide is low, and it was just about as low as it gets at 3.36 pm today. At least it wasn't smelly. Before crossing the road to the Yacht for my first pit stop, I spotted a couple of workmen doing God's work. Either of those could have ended up as today's blip, but a bit of toing and froing put them in the reject pile and brought me back to this view of the Malahide Road towards the beginning of the let's-be-healthy walk.

At long last, material begn to come in this afternoon for the next issue of the quarterly magazine, so tomorrow will see the beginning of design and layout work. Let's hope I manage to fit in a walk at some stage. If it's as nice as today, it'll be hard not to down tools for an hour or so and get out and about.

p.s. Whatever happened to January and February?
