Blossoming

It was meant to be a just-in-case blip, taken this morning while the sky was still clear blue. I finished work at 3.40 am and returned to work at 7.00, calling it quits at 11.00. It was while in the kitchen doing breakfast that I grabbed the camera and pointed it at this display in the next-door neighbour's garden, nicely peeping over the dividing wall. Just as well I did, what with the clouds rolling in later on and rain falling by evening time, and no later urge or opportunity for blipping.

The usual routine apart from that. A good music session, with a member there who's been missing for some time while studying for a music degree. A quick pint in the pub down the road and some excellent chat, then it was over across town to catch Carl in the final stages of painting and decorating. By 8.15 we didn't feel like cooking, so booked a table in the Rasam Indian restaurant. It really is all a bit designer, and a long way from being authentically Indian, but it was enjoyable all the same.
