Park Art

A friend arrived today and we went for a walk in a very recently reopened park near themarket. Found this statue - I haven't seen children playing hopscotch here though. The park has a similar ornate central fountain (not playing today) as others, but it's got a less formal layout with more winding paths and mature trees. I really liked it. Meanwhile another park close to home has just been boarded up, presumably for refurbishment, for the second time in two years. I wonder what they'll do to it this time.
