That's not a puddle...

It's a broken tree.

Came back, like many people around no doubt, to find carnage in the garden. This tree used to look like this but the wind today got the better of it. Across the road from this another tree had taken out a bus stop (4th photo in on this BBC News page) and a few hundred yards along the road other huge branches had fallen on the road the kids take back from the local high school. And it's still blowing hard.

Ok, obviously this isn't our garden, ours had a lot less damage (upturned swing, broken plant pot or two, litter from upturned bins all over the place) but it's all a bit surreal out there today what with the unseasonable gales and rain and volcanoes dumping ash all over us again.

That 'Rapture' guy; when was it he said we were all doomed to damnation again?

Cheers Jim, for the heads-up on all the carnage!
