Shades of Green

There are many shades of green in my winter garden, some dark and some light but this new growth just seemed to sparkle with life capturing the little bit of sun we had today.

Daughter E had her dress fitting today for her school formal. It was the first time I had seen her dress and its gorgeous!!! Just took my breath away. Her dressmaker is impressed with the design, an idea Daughter E came up with and they worked together. A few minor alterations and then we bring it home - its so exciting!! Yes it will be blipped.

Daughter A arrives home soon and we're all looking forward to seeing her. She's on uni holiday but is working for most of it in Wellington, long days and most days but good pay, she'll be needing a break and some quiet time before her next semester starts.

Its time to draw the curtains and put another log on the fire, Hubby should be home early tonight which is often not the case on a Saturday night, lots of paperwork to be done for 'handover' with Saturday being his last work day of the week.

I'll be back later to finish off the backblips - I hope :)
