A different purpose ...

... from what it was built for.

I believe that this building began its life as a warehouse just down the hill from Karangahape Road, at its western end. For quite some years now it has been both an Irish Pub and a venue for live music. Apparently many of the performers are getting their first break, and there is an urge to promote New Zealand music and musicians.

I feel sure that it will be a popular place during the coming Rugby World Cup tournament.
