and Claudius and Gertrude, Ophelia and Laertes, Polonius and the rest. Went along to the auditions for the Grads autumn production this afternoon. Although mainly a photographer of theatre, I have trodden the boards myself a couple of times, sort of drifting into acting by the back door of improvisation. Seems that it's the classic canon that excites me, as my two previous appearances were in Twelfth Night and Antigone and here I am trying out for a part in Hamlet. I am hoping to get a small part in the play, but we'll have to see. L also went along so fingers crossed for her getting cast too - possibly as a gender-switched Polonius.
And yesterday's backblip
