Doctored!!!

One of the reasons for coming across the water was to attend my brother's doctoration (???) He has been awarded an honorary doctorate at Stafford University for services to the animation department, and for his inspiring work in  animation in general.  Here he is in full swing giving his acceptance speech.  The cap and gown were hilarious, very Thomas Moore, and he had to be prised away from them at the end of  the day so enamoured was he with them. It is a huge honour and as his guests we were very spoiled. The award ceremony was held in Trentham Gardens and the sun shone and it was very beautiful  to wander around afterwards - he still resplendent in full gown!
