Art in the Pearl

This weekend is Portland's annual Art in the Pearl festival, featuring museum displays, craft booths, truly disgusting food, intriguing demonstrations (blacksmiths, glass blowers, woodworkers, violin makers, weavers, etc.). I had an embarrassment of riches for Blips, including the Voodoo Doughnut truck, which I've put into a Blipfolio because where else can you find cupcakes, art, and bacon all celebrated at once? Portland's most infamous purveyor of bad food, Voodoo doughnut offers 120 varieties of doughnuts, including some that include marshmallows, peanut butter, maple icing, Froot Loops, and (yes) bacon. I decided to Blip the bellydancers partly in honor of Annie's emergence from hospital and partly because I appreciate women who are not afraid to have and enjoy a good belly.
