Nearing the End of The Southside Six

The final challenge in The Southside Six race in Glasgow is to run up the hill and steps here in Queen's Park before the finish at the Flagpole. This shot was taken at the bottom of the steps, looking north up Victoria Road to the City Centre and the Campsie Fells beyond.

The race is 26km, 275 runners, and covers six of the southside parks. It starts and ends at the Queen's Park flagpole, taking in several of my favourite Blip locations :-

Queen's Park
King's Park
Linn Park
Rouken Glen Park
Pollok Park
Bellahouston Park

#2, the birthday boy from Friday, is safely home from his weekend away. I am off now to enjoy Chinese food and birthday cake.

Thank you for the hearts yesterday.
