TROPAEOLUM tuberosum 'Ken Aslet'

A part of what was a substantial plant managed to survive the freezing snow and cold of last winter and the dryness of the summer. Usually the stems and leaves cover the plastic frame but this year it has only a single stem and a few flowers, which have only just opened. Any time now it will be cut back by the frost. I think it deserves a little extra TLC this winter and wrapping up with some straw and horticultural fleece. I hope I don't lose it altogether.

Tai Chi this morning and I'm hoping to take some prints to be framed shortly in Barnsley. I must get going or I'll drift through the rest of the day.

Oh and it was a shade brighter when I took this but has gone all gloomy again.
