Cavell Gardens

The area around Inverness's war memorial has always been nicely planted. There's a view here taken quite a while ago. This year on Armistice Day the traffic will be stopped for the first time and I believe there will be a brief event with a bugler sounding the last post outside the Town House. On Sunday the Remembrance Service will be here at the war memorial and this small area in front of the memorial has been set aside as a "Field of Remembrance". As can be seen from the notice it was only dedicated a couple of days ago but I expect there will be many more crosses by Sunday.
