Cupola Gallery

A visit to the Cupola Gallery this morning to look over the prints that have come from Paul Warrender's archive. His work is currently being exhibited at The Circle, Sheffield, though the Cupola are handling the sale of prints. We chose two prints which I'll probably blip later this week.

It's been a dreadful day and the rain has poured down. Just a few minutes ago we had sleet which seems to have turned back to rain now. We've got Andrew visiting for the weekend so we tried various eateries on out way back out of Sheffield, including the Dog & Partridge out on the moor, but all seemed to be packed out and we ended up back home eating a very late brunch.

My brother has just been online, chatting via Skype, so it was good to talk to him. He's thinking that he might join us on one of our trips to Northumberland so we'll need to see if we can book the next door cottage or perhaps look for somewhere a little bigger. At some point he'll have to return to NZ to finalise his move so will need to fit a visit to the UK around this. I wonder if we can fit a visit in before he sells the house. He owns a very nice house in Wannaka - we've never been but have been told it's a very lovely place. My dad appears to be having problems with his Skype connection so I need to fit in some time to visit and see if I can sort it out.

Time to go back to finish editing the photographs from Paul's retrospective exhibition.
