Orange Friday dog

I spotted this in a jeweller's window in Hatton Garden. I've no idea how an orange dog is associated with diamonds.

Today has been a very good and productive day. I had a proofreading job that involved only a tiny bit of computer work, so I sat in the living room with the printouts and my red pen and spent many hours just proofreading. It's extremely therapeutic to have one methodical task that occupies a whole day. I did have to spend a couple of hours in central London for a meeting - a potential new working relationship. We'll see what happens with that over the next few months.

In the evening I met up with Simon, Lindsey and Mike to see Another Earth, which we all greatly enjoyed. We all had our theories about the ending. I won't give away any clues!
