me and my dad

A very old photo of me, 17 years old, on the lawn of our family home in Glastonbury, CT. My dad is behind me, riding on his John Deere tractor and mowing the huge lawn we had there. I layered this image on top of a photo of the same John Deere tractor that is still in use some 37 years later by my husband, at Lucas Boatworks. Amazing. I miss my dad (we all do) and it is good for me to see photos of him and remember what a really good man and great father he was.
