Cob Cottage

The rear view of Cob Cottage of Amberley - a view not often seen as the cottage faces the main road, a lovely little garden round the foundations of the cottage with windows showing the cottage decked out in period furnishings.

It was built in the 1800's and relocated to this park in 1975 after a severe battering from a nor-west gale. The original house was much larger with many small rooms upstairs.

I like the rose gardens behind the house and the NZ Cabbage tree, which would've looked spectacular a few weeks ago.

Another lovely summers day, a great day for a little drive in the late afternoon for Hubby and I - a welcome relief after sorting through photos on the laptop this morning.

Have a great week everyone :)
