Leaning Tower of Tree

Your eyes aren't deceiving you. This surgically repaired tree is listing to one side. Ready to fall into the abyss of Christmases past.

My intention is to take it down this weekend and pack it up in pieces for the trash men to take it away. But parting will be such sweet sorrow.

I say my intention, because on January 1 of last year I said I was taking it down and I don't think I actually did it until March 23. It became part of the furniture and people stopped noticing it.

So my intentions don't really mean much.

I always do have the best intentions when I have intentions, though.
