Colourful Lichen

Really cold out on my lunchtime walk today. Grey and bleak. Lots and lots of mud on the footpath across the field - I thought it might be frozen but it was very soft and squidgy.

Tricky to find anything for my photo - the brightest things around at the moment are the patches of lichens on the trees. I liked this group of grey and yellow.

Saw the Red Kites again today but didn't get chance to take a decent shot.
