Avon sunrise
The one good thing about getting up early on a Saturday after a bad night's sleep, knowing that you have a full day of practically unpaid work in front of you is that you get to experience a beautiful sunrise. The sky turned apricot and I spotted these two love birds strolling out of the morning mist. I was a bit sad not have longer to enjoy it but happy that I'd seen it at all. Normally I wouldn't be in town at sunrise on a Saturday morning.
I spent the day assessing students speaking in French. Some were good. Some were not.
In the process, I've met two young French women who I'm planning to catch up with and speak in French to. Brilliant! Something I've missed since moving to NZ.
This evening, Canterbury and I went to the pub where we watched the All Blacks stick it to the Ozzies (for a change).
A glass of Highland Park and then bedtime.
BTW - yesterday's blip got suspended. That'll teach me to split my photo! :)
