Waterfoot Sunrise

By alasdairb

Early Start

Here is the West of Scotland we seem to be be very much on the edge of the giant area of high pressure over Europe, that is bringing the extreme cold weather. So far we have had nothing more than a light frost, although on the down side we do catch the bitterly cold south easterly winds that are blowing today.

Also, with high pressure and reasonably clear skies, we don't get the same dramatic sunrises. The colours are much more muted and its more like a scene of the sun rising when you are at 35,000 feet in an aircraft! However, its still lovely and obviously better than rain and clouds!

Anyway, there is work to be done in the garden where we are laying an area of slabs in preparation for a large log hut that's arriving in April. Back breaking work, but it has to be done. So I am afraid today's blip is simply another sunrise over Carradale Bay!
