Bus Stop Crowd ...

... with a reflection of our building in the windshield of the bus! View it large for that detail and more.

This recent blip from the bus stop shows our building in the center; here is a much broader view down to the bus stop on a snowy day (at the bottom of the street). As you can see, it's the 57 Bus, which we often take--fortunately a crowd this big is very rare. The buses in Paris are very good (aside from bad traffic in places)--just as is the Metro or subway system.

It was a grey and somewhat wet day. I stayed mostly inside to finish a book, Rien ne s'oppose a la nuit ("Nothing opposes night") by Delphine de Vigan. It's a memoir of her mother and her extensive family--wonderfully written but emotionally wrenching.
