Our Butcher in Paris

This was an early shot (late morning, one of several), which stood comparison with other efforts late on a lovely warm afternoon.

These butchers are extremely popular (we waited in the street); their quality is superb. Four men were at work in their very small shop (all visible to a careful look--try large), plus a lady cashier (out of sight); there are usually five on Saturday. The butcher on the right is slicing pork chops, the one on the left (seemingly headless) is replacing a wide side of beef. The shop is on the Rue de Tolbiac in the 13th arrondissement--the street is visible in the reflections. I'm adding this to my long reflection series.

We were buying farm-raised chicken. I hope this images doesn't too much offend the sensibilities of those who avoid any sort of meat.
