Spring in Hexham

I went to the U3A Botany group today for a talk on the plants of Upper Teesdale. We heard about the early Botanists who identified some of the rare plants, before looking at images of the plants themselves. Very interesting.

Afterwards I had a short walk in the Sele, which is the park in the centre of town. The bandstand always looks a bit forlorn at this time of year, but the crocuses are cheerful.
