Nature is wonderful

These catkins arrived in my garden unannounced. I did not plant the tree, but a small seedling has quietly grown in the area we call the shady garden. This is the first year for catkins. Just look at how delicate and exquisite they are.

I spent all morning editing my holiday photos from Lanzarote - I was determined to get the job done. After lunch I had a short walk down the village and visited my friend, L for a cup of tea and a chat. Then I came home, cooked the meal (liver and onions). Watched Countryfile and now I'm having a short session to do my Blip before watching South Riding.

A quiet, easygoing Sunday. Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.
