One of my favourite walks

I love this walk along the top of the valley which passes through this avenue of trees and provides an outlook across gently rolling hills and farmland. Someone had been doing an excellent job of pruning the hedgerow and all the trees and bushes were looking remarkably tall, straight and tidy.

As I turned the corner for the last stretch across the field near home there was a Robin busy singing his patch. Then later, as I was buying fish from our mobile fish van I heard a curlew - the first of the year. Spring is definitely on the way.
