White Dust

The nasty weather of the last few days has lifted. The winds have calmed and the sun shone brightly this day. There was still a chill in the air - it didn't make it out of the fifties - but a sweatshirt and jeans in the sunshine were all I needed for warmth as I walked among the mountains.

It's a winding two lane mountain road that leads to the Coronado National Forest. I didn't make it all the way up to the canyon. I'll save that for trips over the course of the next couple of days.

I just stopped along the road and took some magnificent shots of the snow-dusted Santa Rita Mountains. Such a rare sight to see in Springtime. I hope the snow lingers just a little while longer.
