Feeling Fooey

Carys woke, very early feeling fooey. Sore throat and hot and cold. The Min and Daddy cuddles of Sunday seem to have infected Daddy too. So they were in the big bed together and having decided Carys would not be going to school I went back to bed with W and neither of us woke until 08.00.

I got up, rang school and left an absence message, then rang the gym and cancelled the creche. Both kids came downstairs and left Daddy to sleep. It was a long morning with lots of colouring and a bit of Cbeebies for good measure.

After lunch, we left the sick ones looking after each other to go the the BfN drop-in. It was very quiet today, probably because of the lovely weather, only three mums and no new ones. The plus side was I got to listen lots and William got the whole of the Childrens Centre garden to play in on his own. He loved it.

Back home it was bath/showertime. W insisted he was going to shower, stropped until he got to go in with Daddy and then screamed "I no like" until I could get a towel and get him out. Perverse little man. Carys had perked up this afternoon despite her lovely (hopefully) viral rash, we are hoping she will be well enough to go to school tomorrow but I fear she will be in that 'not well enough for school but too well for home' limbo. we shall see.
