Easter

We had a wonderful sing this morning. 7 sopranos to sing the high notes. We had 2 anthems, first a Rutter, who composes some beautifully lyrical church music, and, during Communion, Mozart' s 'Ave Verum' which was the first piece that Inverurie Choral performed, 13 years ago. It is still one of my favourites. We started this morning in the garden with a Honduran introit and then the choir led the people into the church. As well as the singing and Communion we also had a children's egg hunt and a baptism, Skye, who is around 8. It was a joyous and emotional morning.
Now I have stp to make for #2 son who is coming for a meal tonight.
The students in 88 have just had an egg hunt too, or they've taken a unexpected and surprising interest in the back green.
2 posies of daffodils from the church are decorating my hall.
Happy and peaceful Easter to all.
