Marjorie's ramblings

That tongue is a funny colour!

Did a 13 mile pre-walk for Crags and Loughs Day 2 which will be on Sunday April 29th in the (wonderful) Haltwhistle Spring Walking Festival. If you come I can guarantee we will see plenty of Crags and Loughs.

Crags: Steel Rigg, Hotbanks, Dove Crag, Queens Crags, Kings Crags, Crow Crags and Swallow Crags.

Loughs: Crag, Broomlee, Halleypike, Greenlee plus Folly Lake.

Today we had a lot of weather, mainly rain although the sun broke through in the afternoon. That was before the heavy hail storm (but we were in the pub by then). It was very very very muddy underfoot. We saw lots of new lambs today, including some Jacobs.

These cows were enjoying some extra fodder.
