Meteor Man!

Little Meteor has settled right in! He's a happy little rat, and, like his brother Comet, is friendly and a delight to have around!

He's also showing what a man he is, and has already developed that very male habit that bucks have, of getting their "gentleman's bits" into the foreground of photographs!

For those of you who are interested in such things, Comet and Meteor, although they share their names with astronomical bodies (which influenced my choice of names - as did the pattern on Comet's back), were actually named directly after aeroplanes - namely the De Havilland Comet and the Gloster Meteor. They follow in the tradition started by Vulcan, Victor and Valiant, who are, of course, named after the Avro Vulcan, Handley Page Victor and Vickers Valiant, or collectively, the V Bombers!

As for me, while Meteor snoozed and showed of his manliness, I worked and sorted the house, and cleaned Alcatraz for the ladies (whose bits are conspicuous only by their absence - I'm still getting used to looking at what looked, at first, to me like "incomplete" rats), and such stuff!
