The Blipday closes

A big, big thank you to everyone who commented on my 500th yesterday. I'll do my best to thank you all individually.

Today was a mix of work and relaxation, up early to get stuck in to work (which is going well), with a few breaks along the way to check Blip and grab cups of coffee and bites to eat. Before I knew it, the day was dying, and no blip had been blipped. The weather had been changeable, with bouts of drizzle alternating with overcast skies and tentative break-throughs by the sun. Fortunately, the clouds parted long enough around 6.30 for the sky to brighten up with a display of pinks and golds -- just right for a quick point-at-the-sky-and get-the-neighbours-talking end-of-day blip.
