Rust

The West Coast, doing what it does best - raining and rusting.

My friends have a graveyard of old vehicles rusting away in one of the paddocks. This is the one they first came to their new farm in when they got married 40 years ago. They drove over with one cow (which died of milk fever). No electricity, not much of a roof over their heads. The real pioneer NZ spirit.

It was peeing it down with rain and I got very wet, but cabin fever got me and my pink gumboots out and about in the rain. I walked for about an hour until I started to get cold.

Then it was back to the house to sit by the fire with a hot chocolate.

I did some exercise today, exercise bike, press ups and situps.

They hurt.
