Concentrated effort

It takes all of that to lay eggs I reckon.  Dragons have to find a convenient twig to hold onto, and a convenient place to actually deposit the eggs.  No mean feat.

This dragon was on the other side of the pond, and I didn't have my long lens - such a shame; as there would have been a lot more detail.

This is what I think is a female Swamp Darner.  Dragons are incredibly hard to ID.
