Melting ice

Like many people, we had snow last night, albeit just a light covering. I half expected it to be gone by lunchtime, but it seems there wasn't enough heat in the sun today, and as the sun has gone down, there is still snow on the road - which will be ice tomorrow. 

I love the ice and snow, even when it makes travelling difficult. Although I find it easier to drive on than to walk sometimes!  At least its given us a bit of a Christmas feel!
