Strawberries

Strawberries? No I've not gone completely daft. The two trees to the left and right of this shot are indeed strawberry trees - the fruits look just like, well, strawberries.  The central tree is the 'unnoticed' Acer that gloriously turns gold in the autumn.

Chilly today. There was a spectacular mist coming over the hills first thing (just not in a location worth photographing).

We'd invited neighbours round this afternoon who couldn't make our previous gathering.  As it happened only Mike & Helen could make it but it was good to have a chat over a cuppa and Christmas cake.

I cleared out a few ancient websites in preparation for drafting out a proper Dell House one.

Finished off the evening with an episode of Vera.
