Mono Monday :: Distant ::MM50

A belated entry for this weeks Mono Monday challenge hosted by Skeena

Not only was I Distant from home, being on a business trip to Yorkshire (how lucky was I getting paid to go to the best place in the world)!) I was also very distant in the hotel. I was in a room at the end of a corridor which was at the end of this very long corridor in the hotel.

The business trip was good and the office I was in was a nice environment and it was good being surrounded by people speaking in various Yorkshire accents. It was almost like being back home.

We stayed in the Majestic Hotel in Harrograte which was very plush and nice in an vintage style. You could almost imagine it featuring in an Agatha Christie novel. (Agatha Christie was actually located in a hotel in Harrogate after her famous disappearance).

We rounded the evening off with a nice meal in an Italian restaurant, which seemed to be populated with delegates from the Exhibition Centre which was hosting a Christmas Gift and Decoration exhibition. In fact we were greeted with a table of illluminated Christmas table decorations. Illuminated Santa's and Snowmen would appear to be 'In' for next Christmas. Remember you heard it here first!
