Aperture on Life

Another Day

The sun had already risen too high for a red sky but, I saw the mist rising and raced to the top of the hill to get a shot.  Just up enough to be leaving the valley below in partial shade, the sun illuminated the strip of land in front  of me from through the tree tops, just out of view from the camera.

I should go more often but, as always when I do things really early, I failed to sleep today so my night duty is going to be a marathon.  I can survive for once and tomorrow I can pass out in my own bed.  Ahhh, bliss!
