DSF 2015

Good day at work made even better because we got to leave at 4pm on account of traffic congestion caused by Arab Health finishing at 5. I raced home as I wanted to get some things ready for next week. Visa run for G tomorrow so the weekend will fly again.

We went to get the car ready - check oil levels, tyre pressure etc. and also to buy some Omani Riyals; and whilst on the hunt for said Riyals (not all exchange shops stock them), we happened to walk through our local (Karama) park where there is a bit of a fair going on for DSF; cool entertainment and all! Unfortunately, we kept missing the acts but did manage to catch these 4 ladies dressed in these hooped skirtsold fashioned gowns sporting mini theatres in them!! Most unusual. I managed to get a couple of shots by running ahead. Missed noticing the shadow created by the light pole though. Sorry!

And I was hoping to get to bed by 10pm for an early start but fell asleep on the sofa watching a movie about Vincent Van Gogh; so need to get my act together. Have a good weekend! :)
