Rebar & Rust

Any long time follower of my journal knows of my penchant for rusty metal. I hit the jackpot today as I was perusing the Unidad Deportiva construction site seeing what had happened in the past couple of weeks. Plenty it turns out, which I photographed at length, but the piles of rebar waiting for their date with freshly poured concrete, were what drew my attention. No surprise as they had started to rust in places, creating some nice patterns which I gleefully photographed. Edited and enhanced in Lightroom, I now have a whole collection of one of my favorite type of images.
