Bumblebee

This large bumblebee was working the pot marigolds. Apparently there was nectar only in the outer florets of the centre. She alighted on a flower, ploughed around in a circle, and then went on to the next.

It was gloomy and cool, with a chilly southerly. The temperature of 14ºC was quite a drop from yesterday’s 31º. Still no rain.
