The Goal Trail

Well, you've heard of Star Trail pictures, is this a first for a 'Goal Trail'?

The decorator left at 6pm, so it was a rush to get out for the Cardiff City v Blackburn Rovers match that kicked off at 7.45pm. I was hoping for a Cardiff goal to do this 'Goal Trail' picture, and it came in the 84th minute from a Peter Whittingham corner. You can see the trail of the ball to Sean Morrison's head, and the ball continuing into the back of the net.

Everyone thought it would be Cardiff's first win for 8 matches, but former Cardiff City striker Rudy Gestede (now Blackburn Rovers) scored in the final minute to level the score at 1-1. The two consolations are that I got the pic I wanted and Cardiff played the best I've seen them for quite a while.

I know many of you aren't interested in football but I hope you enjoy seeing something different.
