Going backwards.

All that Spring hope in the sunshine yesterday, despite the cold, blown away today with sleety wind and rain.

There have been weather warnings out for today and tomorrow and the first signs greeted us as we left church.
The rain definitely had a sleety feel to it but we haven't really had snow as they have on nearby higher ground as in the next village (see Wilsden Walker).

It's just turning dark now so we will wait and see if we go back to winter's grip overnight!
