Gardening Weather

Well what can I say, another glorious day. It is becoming a bit tiresome, the weather forces me to go out. It may not last very long, and may not be repeated this year. As a result any normal administrative tasks fall by the wayside. At this point we can only hope it lasts through the weekend.

At Crathes garden there was a lot of activity today. The gardens are being prepared for the 60th anniversary of when Crathes Castle, garden and estate was taken over by the National Trust Scotland. The gardens have to be ready for mid June.

While there was a lot of activity, it is to be hoped nobody had to work in the greenhouse. Despite having the ventilation and doors open it must have been stiflingly hot in there.

I wonder if there is a Bill and Ben working in the Garden. No weeds in sight anyway.
