Journey Through Time

Spring Forward

This little tulip is blooming because it was in our green/glass house and it had a bit of a head start over the ones in the ground.  I quit trying to have tulips in the garden as the squirrels love munching on them.

I took auntie to New Season's Market as I was telling her about it.  She had a good time looking at all the goodies there and we ended up with bringing home some dinner items.

A GORGEOUS and warm day today with people running around in shorts and sandals and warm weather gear.  It was nearly 70 degrees today.  This has been an incredible run of sunny days.  Sprinkles are supposed to get here this next week.

The people who run the winter weather activities on Mt. Hood have had to go to Plan B and activate the summer weather activities, since the snow pack is pretty sparse.  At least they have a Plan B.  One area's disappointment is another area's great good fortune.  The beaches have been busy with lots of people visiting there, which makes the businesses  very happy.

Gotta go and attend to our dinner plans I think.

We are springing forward tonight with our clocks.  It's such a short amount of time that we are on "standard" time anymore, maybe they should just keep it on Daylight Savings Time.  It's a thought.

See ya later, kids.
