Mono Monday :: Entrances and Exits :: MM58

Thanks to Chantler63 for hosting this weeks Mono Monday challenge on a theme of entrances and exits.

This is the pathway to the Entrance of Peckleton Church. I am always intrigued by this as the path is lined by headstones which form retaining walls on either side of the path.

I think this image works for the theme on a number of levels, obviously it shows the entrance of the church, but also on a more spiritual level, you enter the religious world when you are christened in a church, and you exit this world for the next at a church service too, and this is signified by the presence of the headstones lining the path.
