Wide Angle Wednesday - Leading Lines

This is my entry for hobbs new challenge, now in it's second week.

It's St Ouen's Windmill, or Moulin de la Campagne  a tower mill in Grantez, Saint Ouen, that was converted into an artillery observation post by the Germans during World War Two. It is listed on the Jersey Register of Historic Buildings. It is now used by one of the local Scout Groups.

The fields in front are full of Jersey Royals, protected by polythene for the first few months until the risk of frost is over and the plants are too tall to grow under it. Apparently two years ago today was when we had the biggest snow for nearly 40 years, so just as well the polythene is still there! It was quite cold again today, I was wearing my hat and coat whilst wandering around the fields. There was only a very brief moment of sunshine this afternoon when I came home!
Never mind Spring has to come sometime doesn't it as I've seen a bumblebee, daffodils and pussy willow on the trees this afternoon!

Has anyone else noticed how quiet Blip Central are? Do you think it's anything to do with the Big Moment photos being shared outside of blip?
