One Tree

I have good intentions about participating in the One Street Challenge, and even know what street I am going to use.  But I haven't gotten around to doing it.

But the one thing I can  begin is something i have been introduced to by arkensielphoto.    A One Tree.

This tree is on the other side of my wall on the bottom of the hill towards the houses I face from my backyard.  It's a huge, beautiful tree.  But each of those yellow "leaves" is actually a seed pod of some sort, which I believe might be filled with pollen.  (You can sort of see them in full screen mode.)

I will try to remember to take pictures of my One Tree as it passes through its stages .
