Spawn Watch

Not a day for taking photographs, unless one was securely tied to something sturdy. High winds and rain kept us indoors and alongside the gallant efforts of my lovely brother to fill me with good roast beef, ale and whisky I was unable to do much at all (I could barely even stand). But this fellow was busy keeping an eye on the frog spawn in the pond.

Tomorrow I start the two-day process of ceasing to be employed by my company of nearly thirty years. Voluntary early retirement is a quietly terrifying and awesomely wonderful voyage to embark upon, and, in the words of Malcolm Reynolds, "I aim to misbehave".
