Tiny Tuesday : Leylandii

There're trees out there that will start fights, but none of them as readily as leylandii... Perhaps the main reason there's a section 8 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003..! Grown as hedges and allowed to grow and grow until it shuts out the light and neighbours come to blows. Oh my!

And yes, we have a tall leylandii hedge at the bottom of our back garden. Happily it causes no offence to those behind and beside us, but unhappily it's getting to the end of it's natural life and soon we will have to think about dropping it. And that will dramatically change our outlook.

In the meantime, at this time of year it is covered in the most wonderful yellow to red flowers, each no more than a few millimetres long and today coated with new rain. Lots of rain, some solid! But perfect for Tiny Tuesday, hosted this month by Lizellen. You can find the other tiny entrants here.
