Out To Sea

I felt a little bit better today, but we had another pyjama morning as I couldn’t really get going.  After lunch we headed over to Tantallon Castle.  Being Easter weekend it was busy, but we still managed to have a good time exploring the ruins and looking over the cliffs and out to sea, to view the Bass Rock and the Isle of May.  We were then going to head to a beach so that BB could kick his football, but by the time we were finished exploring he had gone off the idea.  We headed to the supermarket instead.

I did a tiny bit of garden tidying when we got back and then made a chocolate cake in anticipation of TT’s imminent return.  I need to ice it later.

Here is a view from the cliffs out to the Bass Rock and the Isle of May (on the horizon to the right of the bass Rock).  You can also see the Fife coast on the left horizon.
